Requirements

Chef requires PHP v7.3 or PHP v7.4, and the following PHP extensions:

  • Ctype PHP Extension
  • JSON PHP Extension
  • ZIP PHP Extension
  • FileInfo PHP Extension
  • BCMath PHP Extension
  • ionCube Loader PHP Extension
  • GD PHP extension

Very Important

Chef can only be installed on your main domain or subdomain: For Example, yourdomain.com OR chef.yourdomain.com It CANNOT be installed in the subdirectory path of your domain. For Example, www.yourdomain.com/my-new-website
Chef requires an SSL certificate to be installed on your domain to work with all the services. A FREE SSL certificate can be easily installed on your domain using sslforfree.com

Written Walkthrough

The following steps needs to be followed to install the script properly on a shared hosting platform.
  • Step 1
    Download the zip file from CodeCanyon.
  • Step 2 Extract the zip file on your system.
  • Step 3 Navigate to Version {version-number} folder.
  • Step 4 Select the file UPLOAD_THIS.zip and upload it to the public_html directory of your hosting.
  • Step 5 Extract the contents of the uploaded zip file to the same directory i.e public_html.
  • Step 6 Assuming your website is yourdomain.com, and you have already set up an SSL certificate, navigate to https://yourdomain.com/public/install
